ENDA MCDONNELL MEMORIAL CUP
The Enda McDonnell Memorial Cup was launched on Friday last as part of the annual Thurles International Festival. Maire Hickey, Ladies Gaelic Football President Elect attended the launch in the Sarsfields Centre, Thurles. Olive McDonnell, wife of the late Enda McDonnell was present with other family members and members from Tipperary Ladies Gaelic Football Association. Tommie Campbell, Chairman of Tipperary Ladies Gaelic Football said that he was delighted to be present at the launch this competition and he paid tribute to Enda and all the hard work he did for Ladies Gaelic Football both locally and nationally. He wished the organisers well with the event and had no doubt that the competition would be well supported.

The Enda McDonnell Memorial Cup is a 7 a side competition open to all clubs around Ireland and within Tipperary. Full details and application form for the competition are available on the website, www.tipperaryladiesfootball.ie

TIPPERARY ADULT LEAGUE
Tipperary Ladies Gaelic Football concluded their Adult League for 2014 on Sunday 1st June when Galtee Rovers claimed the last title, Intermediate/Junior A Cup winners.

On Thursday last Brian Borus defeated Moyle Rovers to become the Senior League Champions in a game played in Monroe.

Congratulations to Fethard on becoming the Tipperary Junior B League winners when they overcame Gortnahoe Glengoole in Final on Sunday last in Fethard.

Well done to St. Patrick’s who defeated Cahir B in the Tipperary Junior C/D League Final on Sunday last in Cahir.

COUNTY TIPPERARY U8/U10 BLITZ
Best wishes to all the Tipperary Clubs who will compete in the Tipperary U8 and U10 Blitz which will be held in Duneske, Cahir on Saturday next. This is a non-competitive, fun blitz with an emphasis on skill development and team play. It is hoped that there will be a huge attendance. DEVELOPMENT SQUADS
Tipperary Ladies Football is starting to organise their 2014 Development Squads. It is hoped to commence the following squads on these dates

County U12 Academy Start (July 26th/27th)
County U13 Development Squad Start (Aug 9th/10th)
County U15 Development Squat Start (Aug 16th/17th)

All these programmes are in place to train girls to a standard above club level so that every child is going back to their club a better player. Top quality coaches are needed and it is a great opportunity also for coaches who aspire to be part of a county team in future years.

MUNSTER CLUB 7’S COMPETITION
Best wishes to all the Tipperary Clubs who are competing in the Munster Ladies Gaelic Football Club 7’s Competition in Mallow GAA Sports Complex on Saturday June 7th. This is their fifth year to host the competition and a fantastic day of Ladies Football is expected for all clubs who participate. Clubs can compete in Senior, Intermediate or Junior Grades with panels of 12 players. Full details of the competition are available on www.tipperaryladiesfootball.ie

MUNSTER CAILÍNÍ ÓGA
