Templetuohy Foods is to become the new sponsor of Tipperary GAA’s inter county match day social media content for 2024.
The agreement will see the Templetuohy Foods name appear across the various social media channels with team news and score updates for all inter county games from minor to senior, in both hurling and football.
Speaking at the launch of the new sponsorship, Tipperary GAA CEO Murtagh Brennan thanked Templetuohy Foods for their support and said, “The sponsorship is a great example of a local family run business supporting the great sporting family that is Tipperary GAA. We are extremely grateful to the Everard family for coming on board and supporting Tipperary GAA”.
Now based in Ballytarsna Horse & Jockey, Templetuohy Foods was set up by Kevin & Miriam Everard in 1993 with the aim and objective of supplying quality products at competitive prices to a select market. The business has grown steadily from very small beginnings at its original base in Templetuohy, to become one of the biggest food distributors in Ireland, with an ever increasing workforce, currently employing over 30 people on a full time basis.
Managing Director Kevin Everard said “we are delighted to support Tipperary GAA as the GAA is a fabulous organisation, one of the most unique in the world. Starting at juvenile club level and continuing all the way up to elite inter county level. We are really looking forward to the year ahead and hopefully this new partnership can play some part in what will hopefully be a successful year for Tipperary teams.”
The Tipperary senior footballers commence their Allianz League action on Saturday January 27th, while the senior hurlers will be in action the following weekend.
