Marlfield GAA Club will host a table quiz in Carey’s Pub, Irishtown on Thursday November 30th in commemoration of former Tipperary referee Noel Cosgrave, who sadly passed away last April.
During his refereeing career, Noel refereed a number of county finals, including the 2008 county senior hurling final between Toomevara and Thurles Sarsfields.
Originally from Cappamore in county Limerick, and a proud Limerick man, Noel, who was 59 years of age, worked at Clonmel Credit Union, having previously worked with Tipperary County Council.
Tables of 4 will cost €20 and the club will be making a generous donation to a charity of the Cosgrave family’s choice.
Marlfield GAA are hoping for a large attendance on the night and would really appreciate the support of all the clubs in the county as well as Noel’s former refereeing colleagues.
