Impressive Rovers Capture U14 Title

A impressive performance by a well drilled Moyle Rovers side, saw them Capture the U14A Title with a facile victory over a game Kilsheelan Kilcash side in the second u14 final played in Cloneen last week.
Three early goals in the first half by Rovers, two by the impressive Rian Quigley, and the other by Sean Cotter sealed the game, and put Kilsheelan Kilcash on the back foot. By the time referee Paddy Ivors sounded the half time whistle, Moyle Rovers led by 3.6 to 0,4 and the title was heading to Monroe.
In the second half Kilsheelan Kilcash showed great Fight, and played the game in a fine spirit, even though things were not going well on the scoreboard, Rovers kicked some lovely points in the second half, and at the final whistle they had sixteen points to spare on a scoreline of 3.16 to 0.7.
For Kilsheelan Mark Stokes, Kian Quinn and their goalkeeper Adam Quigley who made many fine saves kept trying to the last.The experience of getting to a divisional final will stand these young players in good stead.
Victory went to Moyle Rovers, who look a well organised outfit, and play a lovely brand of football for a young side. On the night they had impressive players in man of the match Rian Quigley who hit 2.4 , captain Diarmuid Mulcahy, Brian Quirke, Ben Owens and Conor McGrath.
Compliments to Referee Paddy Ivors who had a full team of umpires decked out, as had Tadhg Lonergan in the first game.
