West Junior A Hurling Championship:
The final game in this year’s Gleeson Concrete West Junior A Hurling championship took place in Sean Treacy Park on Friday last as Emly made it three wins from three with victory over Eire Og Annacarty Donohill. Emly will play in the final of this year’s competition where they will meet the winners of the semi-final between Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams and Clonoulty/Rossmore.

West Junior B Hurling Championship:
The quarter final stage of the Tipperary Co-Op West Junior B hurling championship takes place this weekend.

On Friday night July 22nd Arravale Rovers take on Cappawhite in Emly. Arravale Rovers recovered well from their opening round loss to Galtee Rovers to defeat Rosegreen and Sean Treacys and finished second in Group 2. Cappawhite finished third in Group 1 with two wins from Clonoulty/Rossmore and Golden/Kilfeacle and two defeats Solohead and Cashel King Cormacs).

On Saturday night July 23rd Cashel King Cormacs take on Sean Treacys in Dundrum. Cashel King Cormacs finished second in Group 1 winning three of their four games with their only defeat coming against group winners Solohead. Sean Treacys finished third in Group 2 their only defeat coming in their last game against Arravale Rovers.

Both games throw in at 7.30pm.

West Junior A Football Championship:
The remaining Group 2 game between Sean Treacys and Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams takes place this Tuesday July 19th in Bansha at 7.30pm. The winners will play Group 1 winners Emly in the semi-final. Should the game finish in a draw Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams will go through as they have a better score-difference.

Cappawhite v Clonoulty/Rossmore
Emly v Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams or Sean Treacys

West Junior B Football Championship:
In Group 1 of the Rea Clarke Hennessy West Junior B Football championship Galtee Rovers remain unbeaten following a three point victory over Eire Og Annacarty Donohill in Sean Treacy Park on Tuesday night last. Match Report

In New Inn last year’s finalists Cashel King Cormacs got their campaign back on track with victory over Golden/Kilfeacle. Match Report

The final group game takes place this Tuesday night as Cashel King Cormacs take on Eire Og Annacarty Donohill in Sean Treacy Park at 7.30pm. A draw or a win for Cashel King Cormacs will ensure second spot in the group and set up a semi-final with Group 2 winners Arravale Rovers. A victory for Eire Og will see second spot determined on score difference. Currently Cashel King Cormacs have + 1, Golden/Kilfeacle +3, Eire Og Annacarty Donohill -14.

On Saturday in Group 2, Rockwell Rovers defeated Solohead to qualify for this years semi-finals. Match Report

Minor Hurling:
The West Minor A and B hurling championships continued last Wednesday.

In Group 1 of the Joe Hayes Cleanline West Minor A Hurling Championship Emly/Treacys defeated Arravale Rovers in Sean Treacy Park. Match Report

In Bansha, Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams made a winning start to this year’s competition when they defeated Galtee/Golden in Bansha. Match Report

There are two more games down for decision this Wednesday night in Group 1. In Sean Treacy Park Arravale Rovers take on Galtee/Golden. This is a must win for Galtee/Golden having lost their two games to date. Arravale Rovers will also require a win to keep in the hunt for one of the two semi-final spots.

In Kilcommon the two unbeaten sides in the group meet as Emly/Treacys take on Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams. A win or a draw for Emly/Treacys will see them guaranteed a semi-final spot. A win for Kickhams will see them go level on points with their opponents. All games throw in at 7.30pm.

On Sunday the final group game takes place in Dundrum as Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams host Arravale Rovers at 12 noon.

In Group 2 Cappawhite Gaels made a winning start when they defeated Lattin Cullen Gaels in Lattin. Match Report

Cappawhite Gaels will take on Clonoulty/Rossmore in their final group game this Wednesday night July 20th in Cappawhite at 7.30pm. Cappawhite need just a draw to secure a semi-final spot while a victory will see them finish top of the group. This will be Clonoulty/Rossmore’s first game in this year’s competition. The final game of the group takes place on Sunday as Lattin/Cullen Gaels take on Clonoulty/Rossmore in Clonoulty at 12 noon.

The top two teams in each group qualify for this year’s semi-finals.

In the Bewleys West Minor B Hurling Championship Cashel King Cormacs are through to the final following a comfortable victory over Rockwell/Rosegreen on Wednesday last. They will be joined in the final by the winners of the last group game between Eire Og Annacarty Donohill and Rockwell/Rosegreen who meet this Wednesday night July 20th at 7.30pm in New Inn. Should the game finish level Eire Og will advance due to a superior score-difference.

O’Donoghue Cup:
This year’s Michael Devlin Solicitors O’Donoghue Cup got underway on Tuesday night last as Rockwell Rovers defeated Cappawhite in the quarter final. Match Report

Rockwell Rovers will play Galtee Rovers in their semi-final this Tuesday night July 19th at 8pm in New Inn. In the other semi-final also on Tuesday night Arravale Rovers will take on Golden/Kilfeacle in Golden at 7.30pm. There is a provision for extra-time will be played in the event of a draw in both games.

County Intermediate Hurling Championship:
Lattin/Cullen Gaels defeated Galtee Rovers by a single point in Group 3 of the competition in Leahy Park Cashel. The result sees Lattin/Cullen Gaels finish top of the group and Galtee Rovers are second.

Tipperary Senior Footballers:
Best of luck to the Tipperary Senior Footballers who take on Derry in final round of the All Ireland qualifiers in Breffni Park, in Cavan this Saturday July 23rd at 5pm.

Tipperary U21 Hurlers:
Congratulations to the Tipperary U21 Hurlers on their victory over Limerick in the Munster semi-final in Semple Stadium on Thursday night. They will now play Waterford in the Munster Final.
