West U21 Football Championships:
All three games in the McGrath Oil West U21A and B football championships were postponed on Sunday last due to poor weather conditions.

The McGrath Oil West U21B Football championship games will hopefully commence this weekend weather permitting. In Group 2 on Saturday February 20th Clonoulty/Rossmore and Golden/Kilfeacle meet in Sean Treacy Park with a 2pm throw in. In Group 1 the following day Eire Og Annacarty Donohill and Cashel King Cormacs meet in Dundrum at 12 noon.

On Saturday in the U21A Football championship Arravale Rovers and Rockwell/Rosegreen meet in Golden at 2pm. Arravale Rovers were West Minor A champions three years ago while Rockwell/Rosegreen were West Minor B champions.

West Minor Hurling Championships:
The draw for this year’s West Minor Hurling championships took place on Thursday last in Dundrum. There are seven teams entered into the A championship and they will be divided into two groups. The competition will be run on a round-robin basis with the top two teams in each group qualifying for the semi-finals.
Group 1- Sean Treacys/Emly, Galtee/Golden, Arravale Rovers and Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams.
Group 2- Lattin/Cullen Gaels, Clonoulty/Rossmore and Cappawhite Gaels.

There are three entrants in the B Championship – Cashel King Cormacs, Eire Og Annacarty Donohill and Rockwell/Rosegreen. The competition will be run on a round robin basis with the top two teams qualifying for the final.

Munster Junior B Hurling Final:
Commiserations to Eire Og Annacarty Donohill who were defeated by Shanballymore of Cork in the replay of the Munster Junior B Hurling on Sunday last February 14th in Killeedy. The West Tipperary side were narrowly beaten by just two points 0-14 to 1-9. Their goal coming from John Quinn. Match Report

Eire Og will now take on Lenister Champions Tynagh/AbbeyDuniry in the All Ireland semi-final while Shanballymore will play Leinster runners up Barrow Rangers in the other semi-final. The All Ireland semi-finals are scheduled as a double header for Sunday February 28th in Killeedy.
