West U21 Football Championships:
Arravale Rovers are the McGrath Oil West U21A Football champions for 2016 and for the 15th time in their history following victory over defending champions Galtee/Emly on Sunday last in Bansha. Match Report
They will now play Mid champions Drom & Inch in this year’s County semi-final.

Minor Football Championship:
The West Minor A and B Football Championships commenced last Wednesday. In the Tipperary Print & Design West Minor A Football Championship defending champions Galtee/Golden defeated Emly/Treacys in Bansha.

While in the other game Arravale Rovers had three points to spare over Clonoulty/Rossmore.

The action continues this Wednesday night April 6th. In Sean Treacy Park the two victorious teams from Round 1 Arravale Rovers and Galtee/Golden meet with a 6.30pm throw in. A win for either side will guarantee a semi-final spot and put them in a good position to qualify straight for the final. In Emly at 6.30pm on the same night Emly/Treacys take on Clonoulty/Rossmore. Both sides will be looking for victory having been defeated in round 1.

In the Bridge House Golden West Minor B Football championship Cappawhite Gaels defeated Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams in Group 1.

In Group 2 Rockwell/Rosegreen got the better of Eire Og Annacarty Donohill.

The action continues this Wednesday night with a game in both groups. In Group 1 Cappawhite Gaels take on Aherlow Gaels in Cappawhite at 6.30pm. A win or a draw for Cappawhite Gaels will guarantee them a semi-final spot while a win will mean they will top the group.

In Group 2 at 6.30pm in Cashel, Eire Og Annacarty Donohill take on Cashel King Cormacs. Having lost their opening group game, this is a game where Eire Og must get a win or a draw to have any chance of making the semi-finals. A defeat will end their interest in the competition for 2016.

West Junior B Hurling League:
This year’s West Junior B Hurling league will start on Tuesday April 12th with Group 1 getting under way while Group 2 will commence a week later on April 19th. The league will run every Tuesday night with the top two teams in each group qualifying for the semi-finals.
Group 1: Cappawhite, Clonoulty/R, Solohead, Sean Treacys, Rosegreen.
Group 2: Arravale Rovers, Emly, Cashel King Cormacs, Golden/Kilfeacle.

Crosco Cup:
The draw for the Crosco Cup took place last week. Five teams have entered the competition. Sean Treacys will play Clonoulty/Rossmore in the preliminary round with the winners taking on Golden/Kilfeacle in the semi-final. The other semi-final will see Arravale Rovers take on Cappawhite.

O’Donoghue Cup:
The draw for the O’Donoghue Cup took place last week. In the quarter finals Clonoulty/R will play Cappawhite while Golden/K will play Rockwell Rovers. The winners will play each other in the semi-finals. Arravale Rovers will play Galtee Rovers in the other semi-final.

County Senior Hurling Championship:
The group stage of the County Senior Hurling Championship commences this weekend. On Saturday April 9th in Group 2 of Roinn I, Eire Og Annacarty Donohill take on Roscrea in the Ragg at 6.30pm. The following evening in Group 4 of Roinn I, Clonoulty/Rossmore take on Kilruane McDonaghs in Dolla with a 6.30pm throw in.

County Senior Football Championship:
The County Senior Football championship will commence the weekend of April 15th/16th/17th.

County U21B Football Championship:
Golden/Kilfeacle will take on Moycarkey/Borris in the County U21B Football Championship semi-final on Saturday April 16th at 6pm in Clonoulty. Extra-time will be played in the event of a draw.
