Coming up this weekend the FBD Insurance Senior Football Final is the main event as Loughmore-Castleiney regroup to face reigning holders Clonmel Commercials in the decider which goes ahead in Semple Stadium on Sunday next at 4:30pm. Despite the success for both clubs in recent times, 1994 was the last occasion they met in the final with Commercials taking the honours that day. Loughmore’s last success came in 2016 when they defeated Moyle Rovers by 3 points in a replay. In the roll of honour table Clonmel Commercials have 18 county titles to 14 for Loughmore-Castleiney.
The FBD Insurance Intermediate Hurling Final will also be played in Semple Stadium on Sunday next where throw-in is at 1pm. It will be a mid derby with Moyne-Templetuohy and Gortnahoe-Glengoole squaring up to each other following their recent semi-final victories.
Both the Senior Football Final and Intermediate Hurling Final are available to purchase as a streaming package for €10. To purchase on live stream, visit https://page.inplayer.com/TipperaryGAA/
