The Tipperary Senior Hurlers commence their Allianz Hurling League campaign this Saturday with an away tie against Laois in Portlaoise at 6pm. Tipperary manager Colm Bonnar will be looking for a winning start to what will be his first National Hurling League as the premier boss.
After what has been a sad week for all Tipperary supporters, the players who take to the field on Saturday evening will be aiming to put a smile back on the faces of the blue and gold faithful and set the tone for the remainder of 2022.

There have been 35 previous meetings between Tipperary and Laois. The Premier County won 26, drew 3 and lost 6 of these games. The most recent Laois victory was achieved in Thurles, on October 25th, 1986, when they won by 3.15 to 3.7. The last six meetings resulted as follows-

Tipperary supporters are reminded ahead of this weekend’s game that all tickets for games must be purchased in advance of arrival at our grounds. There will be no ticket sales at any venue. Tickets costing €15 can be purchased online via GAA.ie and from selected Centra and SuperValu stores, for all games that don’t include allocated seating all under 16’s are free.
