The Tipperary Senior Hurling team to play Westmeath has been named.

The Tipperary Senior Hurlers play Westmeath in Round 3 of the Allianz Hurling League, This Saturday afternoon in FBD Semple Stadium.

There have been 11 meetings to date and Tipperary lead the way with nine wins to Westmeath’s two. The last six meetings resulted as follows-

1956 ,FBD Semple Stadium, Tipperary 7-5 Westmeath 1-5

1957, TEG Cusack Park, Tipperary 3-9 Westmeath 3-0

1983, TEG Cusack Park, Westmeath 5-12 Tipperary 3-11

1985, TEG Cusack Park, Westmeath 1-18 Tipperary 1-11

2020, FBD Semple Stadium, Tipperary 3-27 Westmeath 0-16

2021 , TEG Cusack Park, Tipperary 4-27 Westmeath 0-16



As always, supporters are reminded that tickets for this game must be purchased in advance either from the GAA website HERE or in selected Centra and Supervalu stores across the County. Tickets will not be on sale at the venue and their will be no tap and go or cash accepted at the turnstiles.
