TG4 MUNSTER INTERMEDIATE CHAMPIONSHIP
Tipperary competed in their second game of the TG4 Munster Intermediate Championship on Wednesday last July 2nd in Davin Park, Carrick on Suir. The strong team Waterford team searching for their sixth Munster title in a row proved too strong, running out winners by Waterford 4-23 Tipperary 1-8. TIPPERARY MINOR TEAM
The All Ireland Minor Semi Final between Tipperary and Armagh will take place in St Peregrines, Dublin on Saturday July 19th at 2.00pm. Extra time will be played if necessary.

TIPPERARY LADIES FOOTBALL GOLF CLASSIC
Tipperary Ladies Gaelic Football launched their Johnny Murtagh sponsored Golf Classic in the Horse & Jockey Hotel on Tuesday last. The Golf Classic will take place on Thursday July 17th at Tipperary Town Golf Course. A team of four costs €200 (meal included) and to book your tee you can call Janet on 083 4199628. Every team member will also receive a voucher for the Lemongrass Restaurant which can be used in any of their restaurants in Clonmel, Kilkenny, Carlow or Liffey Valley.

GRAB YOUR WHISTLE COURSE
Tipperary Ladies Football will be holding a Grab Your Whistle Level 1 Referees Course over 3 days – Saturday 23rd August, Saturday 30th August and Saturday 6th September. Participants must have be born on or before August 1997 to participate in the course. The cost of the course is €15. For further details on the course check out www.tipperaryladiesfootball.ie

COURSE ON FITNESS WITH BALL
Tipperary Ladies Football will hold a course on fitness with the ball in Moycarkey Borris GAA Club on Wednesday July 16th at 6.45pm. This course is free of charge and is available to all coaches, mentors, etc. The course will be looking at how you can modify drills, activities and games to build up the fitness of your teams. There is only ten spaces left on the course and could all interested persons please email Ed Burke, Development Officer at development@tipperaryladiesfootball.ie with your Name, Club and Contact Number.

THURLES INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL – ENDA MCDONNELL MEMORIAL CUP
Congratulations to Galtee Rovers/St. Pecaun’s Ladies Football Club on winning the Thurles International Festival Enda McDonnell Memorial Cup on Saturday last. Kilmihil, Co. Clare overcame Moycarkey Borris in the Shield Final.

UNDER 12 ACADEMY
Tipperary Ladies Football is due to start its Under 12 Academy on the 26th of July at a venue to be confirmed later. The first day will involve registration, a talk, skills challenge and a 9 a side blitz between all players.

The Academy is open to all girls born in 2002 and will run for 12 weeks. There will be one home Inter County blitz day and at least one away Inter County blitz day.

*The emphasis is on getting players to achieve their potential and getting them all playing at a higher intensity.
*Players will be split into groups of 15-20 so as to maximize ball contact time with each player.
*Players will be grouped with players of a similar level of ability.
*Groups may change over the course of the academy.
*All groups will be completing the same drills and activities throughout the duration of the academy.
*Academy will cost €10 per child which must be paid on the first day
*O’Neills Tipperary Ladies Gaelic Football Association crested T-Shirt will be available for a cost of €20 extra

This academy will be used as a feeder system for a Tipperary U13 team which will run from January to May in 2015.
