Tipperary Ladies Gaelic Football Notes – 3rd November 2014

MINOR CHAMPIONSHIP
The focus for Tipperary Ladies Football during last weekend was the penultimate stages of the Minor Championships with a number of semi-finals down for decision following a fixtures meeting early last week.

In the first Minor A Semi Final Brian Borus carried the day by a single point in a tightly contested game with Cahir, Brian Borus 3-2 Cahir 1-7. Under lights in Monroe the host club, Moyle Rovers were victorious over Templemore. Moyle Rovers will now compete against Brian Borus in the Minor A Final to be played next weekend at a venue to be decided.

In the first Minor B Semi Final Clonmel Commercials overcame Boherlahan Dualla on a score line of Clonmel Commercials 7-7 Boherlahan Dualla 4-5 while the second Semi Final saw host club Cappawhite run out winners over Thurles Sarsfields. Cappawhite will now take on Clonmel Commercials in the Minor B Final to be fixed, check out www.tipperaryladiesfootball.ie for the confirmed fixture list.

In the Minor C Semi Finals on Saturday last Arravale Rovers defeated Moyle Rovers B while on Sunday Moycarkey Borris overcame Slievenamon. Arravale Rovers and Moycarkey Borris will meet in the Minor C Final.

The Minor B Plate Semi Finals have yet to be fixed for next weekend – the first final will be Galtee Rovers at home to Fethard while Mullinahone will host the other Semi Final against Lattin Cullen.

FUNDAMENTALS COURSE
Tipperary Ladies Gaelic Football Association will be running a fundamentals coaching course on November 15th at a venue to be confirmed. This is a 1 day course and is 6 hours long. There are only a few places left on the course so we would encourage anyone who is interested to please text me Ed Burke 086 0585932 with your name and club.

MUNSTER DEVELOPMENT SQUAD BLITZES
As part of the Tipperary Development Squads they travel to blitzes organised by Munster Ladies Gaelic Football. Last weekend the U15 Development Blitz travelled to Mallow and had a fantastic day playing other Munster Counties.
