All Ireland Intermediate Club Final
Cahir 0-14 Eyrecourt 1-02

Sunday 6th March 2016 will be a day the girls from Cahir will never forget as they were crowned All Ireland Intermediate Club Champions with a display of power & passion, skill and a pure desire to win.

Cahir got the score board up and running with a point from the very impressive Aishling Moloney and never looked back, heading into the break with a 0-06 points to 0-01 advantage.

Shortly into the 2nd half Eyrecourt stunned Cahir with a quick goal but that was as good as it got for the Galway champions who had no answer to the power and pace of the relentless Cahir attack.

This was a powerful team display by Cahir who ran out 9 point winners in the end , in defence they were strong snuffing out every attempt by Eyrecourt to get on the score board and in attack Cahir were unforgiving punishing the Eyrecourt defence at every opportunity.

Congratulation’s girls on your win not only can the people of Cahir be proud but I think its fair to say that anyone that follows camogie in Tipperary would be proud also , it’s nothing more than you deserve girls well done and also congrats to Aishling Moloney on been awarded player of the match, a fitting tribute to a girl who has been immense for Cahir this year, well done.
