DAILY STAR SENIOR LEAGUE

TIPPERARY 1.06 WEXFORD 1.16

A very disappointing result for Tipperary after drawing their last two games we were well beaten in this match played in the camogie grounds last Sunday. Tipperary were outscored in the first half and at the break were trailing o.01 to 1.06. There was a big improvement in the second half with Amy kennedy goaling for Tipp with Cait Devane,Sabrina Larkin and Micheala Graham pointing for Tipperary.Aoife Ryan and Rita Bourke had good games for Tipperary but on the day Wexford were to strong and Tipperary exit the league competition.

Scores for Tipperary Amy Kennedy 1.01,Cait Devane & Sabrina Larkin 2pts each.Micheala Graham 1pt.

ALL IRELAND MINOR A CHAMPIONSHIP

TIPPERARY 2.06 GALWAY 0.05

Tipperary travelled to Athenry for this crucial minor championship match and our girls did Tipperary proud with a great display of camogie. Tipperary were well in control of this match and ran out comfortable winners

Tipperary scores Jenny Grace 1.01,Roisin Howard 1.01 Lorna O’Dwyer 2pts Niamh Treacy & Courtney Ryan 1pt each.

MUNSTER U16A FINAL

TIPPERARY ARE MUNSTER U16A CHAMPIONS

TIPPERARY 1.10 CORK 0.10

In a repeat of last years final Tipperary (present champions) overcame a determined Cork team to become Munster 2014 champions the final score being the same score as last years.This was a very tough final with Cork taking a four point lead just before halftime but a 29th minute penalty converted by Tipperarys goalie Caoimhe Bourke left Cork 1pt ahead at halftime. The second half was nip and tuck as both teams put on a great display of camogie but Tipperary inched ahead and ran out winners by 3pts
