A member of the 2011 Munster and All Ireland Minor Football winning side, Bill followed up in 2012 by winning another Munster Minor Football medal while also captaining the Tipperary Minor Hurlers to Munster and All Ireland success. 2015 was a big year for Bill when he won a Munster U21 Football medal and made his Tipperary Senior Hurling championship debut against Limerick before winning a Munster Senior Hurling medal. He returned to the footballers in 2016 and has been a vital member of the team ever since. He was wing back on the Tipperary team that won the Munster Senior Football Championship in 2020 and his performances throughout the championship earned him an All Star nomination. At club level, Bill plays hurling and football for Kilsheelan/Kilcash where he won South and County Junior Hurling Championships in 2012, a South Intermediate Hurling Championship and a South Senior Football Championship both in 2015.
