With the North senior hurling championship scheduled for the weekend of June 8th and Tipperary senior hurlers and footballers playing the Munster championship this weekend, the Junior Hurling leagues will take centre stage this weekend.

North Junior A Hurling League
MacDonagh Park, Nenagh will host both semi finals in the North Tipp Junior A Hurling League next Saturday. The Kildangan V Burgess game will have a 5.00pm throw in and extra time will be availed of if necessary. This will be followed by the meeting of Knockshegowna V Templederry Kenyons when 7.00pm is the throw in time. Again extra time will be needed if both sides end in a draw.

The semi final pairings were finalised after the final games were played last weekend in both Group 1 and Group 2.
Group 1
Knockshegowna made it to the last four after their five point win over Moneygall last Friday. Burgess joined them as a result of their draw with Nenagh Eire Og. Burgess were joint second place with Roscrea who overcome Toomevara but Burgess go forward after their head to head win over Ros.

Junior A Group 2
Kildangan received a walkover against Kilruane MacDonaghs and Templederry defeated Borris-Ileigh and as a result the two take first and second place.

JUNIOR B HURLING LEAGUE
Group winners, Lorrha will take on Nenagh Eire Og while Kildangan are also through to the semi finals and take on Ballina. Unlike the Junior A, the semi finals will be played on separate evenings with Kildangan v Ballina fixed for Friday evening and the Lorrha v Nenagh Eire Og game planned for Saturday. This was the plan at the time of writing.

Ballinahinch 0 minus 29
Lorrha in 1st place and Kildangan in 2nd place. Kildangan and Newport finished on equal points and drew their game in the league but Kildangan score difference is superior.

Munster Senior Hurling and Football
Best of Luck to Tipperary in this weekend’s Munster senior hurling and football championships games against Limerick. A mention to the Intermediate hurlers and the Junior footballers who are also in action at the weekend.
