Junior A Hurling League
The opening games of the North Junior A Hurling league will start this weekend.

GROUP 1
On last Saturday the 22nd march the opening games in GROUP 1 were played when played. Holders, Nenagh Eire Og defeated Moneygall by 2-12 to 1-7. The game was played in Moneygall. The Burgess game against Roscrea was postponed as five of the Roscrea players were playing with Scoil Phobal Ros Cre in the All-Ireland B Colleges semi final against Saint Mary’s College, Galway. The remaining game between Knockshegowna and Toomevara was also postponed as Toomevara were scheduled to play Knockavilla Kickhams in the County Junior league.

The Knockshegowna v Toomevara game will now be played this Friday night 29th March under lights at Ballingarry. The Burgess v Roscrea game will go ahead the following day in Kilcolman.

Round 2
The second round will be played on the first weekend of April. Toomevara will be at home to Burgess while Nenagh Eire Og host Knockshegowna with both games planned for the 5th April. Roscrea will entertain Moneygall on the 6th April.

GROUP 2
In GROUP 2 the opening game between Kildangan and Templederry Kenyons was played under lights at Puckane last Friday night 21st March with Kildangan securing a 3-16 to 1-10 win. Elsewhere Borris-Ileigh secured a 1-13 to 1-8 win over Silvermines. Kilruane received a bye.

The second round will consist of Silvermines v Kildangan, Saturday 5th April and Nenagh Eire Og v Silvermines on Sunday 6th April.

Junior B Hurling
The opening round of the Junior B hurling league will get underway this weekend. Five games are due for action. They are as follows:

GROUP 1
Borris-Ileigh v Lorrha
(Borris-Ileigh withdrawn Lorrha received a walk over)
Newport v Kildangan
Portroe v Ballinahinch

GROUP 2
Ballina v Borrisokane
Nenagh Erie Og v Silvermines
Toomevara a bye

North Board Divisional Review
Clubs are requested to provide some feedback to our Board Secretary, Eugene Ryan within the next two weeks. There will be a full discussion at the next North Board meeting.

Under-21 Football
Any hopes of a reprieve for the North division been involved with the County U-21 B Football semi finals were dashed as the scheduled County championships were played without North teams involved. Therefore the two North U-21 B football semi finals between Lorrha and Borrisokane; Newport Gaels and Ballina have been postponed to the earliest possible date.

Minor Football
The opening games in the North Minor Football championship will commence on the 2nd or the 3rd of April.

MINOR A Football
The Ballina v Inane Rovers will be played at a later date due to Roscrea Community Schools involvement in the All-Ireland final on the 5th April. The second game in the group will see Nenagh Eire Og take on the holders Newport Gaels at Nenagh.

Minor B Football
Four games are planned for the 2nd of April
Group 1
Lorrha v Borrisokane
Silvermines v Portroe
Group 2
Burgess v Shannon Rovers Gaels
Kilruane MacDonaghs v Kildangan

The Munster Under-21 Football final Tipperary v Cork in Pairc Ui Rinn April 9
Munster Minor Hurling quarter final Tipperary v Limerick in Limerick April 10
County Intermediate Hurling Championship April 6 or April 13
County Senior Hurling Championship on weekend April 12/13th.
