The draw for the Hibernian Inn Senior Hurling semi finals was held in Dolla on Sunday evening after the Kilruane MacDonaghs v Portroe game and resulted as follows:

Burgess v Kilruane MacDonaghs.
The semi finals will be played on week ending 24th August.

Denis Meats North Tipp Intermediate Hurling Championship
Round 2
The Denis Meats North Tipperary Intermediate Hurling championship returned last weekend and Newport and Shannon Rovers produced an exciting draw at Nenagh last Saturday evening. The final score read Newport 1-18 Shannon Rovers 3-12.

With full points from two games, the victory puts Newport into the final. The one remaining game between Shannon Rovers and Ballinahinch will decide who joins them in the final. A draw or a win for Rovers would suffice while Ballinahinch need a win. That game may now be played on the Saturday after the Tipp v Cork game.
First Round result: Newport 1-14 Ballinahinch 1-10.

GROUP 1
Rd 5:
One round of the championship to be played and four teams vie for three places. All eyes will be on the Kilruane MacDonaghs v Borris-Ileigh game with the Maroons in search of a big winning margin and a top three position while at the same time hoping that the Toomevara v Knockshegowna encounter does not end in a draw. The three games to be played in round 5 are as follows:
Aug 9: Toomevara v Knockshegowna
Aug 9: Templederry v Moneygall
Aug 10: Kilruane MacDonaghs v Borris-Ileigh

This is how the league table looks:
Team Pl W D L +/- Pts
Kilruane 4 4 0 0 55 8
Toomevara 4 3 0 1 36 6
Knockshegowna 4 3 0 1 36 6
Borris-Ileigh 4 2 0 2 12 4

Burgess 3 1 1 1 -5 3
Roscrea 3 0 1 2 -20 1
Silvermines 2 0 0 2 -26 0

Burgess 2-20 Silvermines 2-11.
Burgess gained their first win of the championship with a nine point victory over Silvermines during the week. Their next game against Nenagh is a must win for both sides. A defeat for Burgess would give Roscrea an outside chance to take third place should they get over Silvermines by a big margin. What we do know is Kildangan, who received a walk over from Silvermines, are through to the semi final with Nenagh Eire Og through to quarter finals.
Remaining Games:
