Lorrha come next on 2. The next round is planned for the 26th and 27th. The Portroe v Lorrha game will provide a clue as to might advance to the knockout stages as Kildangan welcome the visit of Ballinahinch.

Minor A Football
Very little progress is made of the North Minor A Football championship. In the latest attempt to play, Newport Gaels will play Inane Rovers on this Wednesday 23rd April. Ballina have a bye.

Minor B Football
The Minor B grade is well under-way.

Group 1
Recent wins for Borrisokane and Portroe leaves them in first and second place respectively. Borrisokane have 4 points, Portroe have 3; Silvermines with 1 and Lorrha with no points so the final round of games to be played on the 23rd will see Borrisokane v Portroe. Port must win to avoid a play-off with Silvermines who look favourites to overcome Lorrha.

Group 2
Kildangan’s recent win over Burgess means they sail on to the semi final with a full complement of points out of two games. The winner of the final game between Kilruane MacDonaghs and Burgess will secure runners up spot and a place in the semi finals.
