U16 Hurling.
We were treated to two enthralling U16A semi finals last week when Kilruane, Nenagh, Kildangan and Toomevara vied for the two North Final berths. As the good weather continued so did the hurling, when Kilruane and Nenagh played out a very close tussle with the home side coming away with a two point victory in Cloughjordan, 1-16 to 1-14. On the same day, Kildangan got the better of Toomevara with a score of 1-17 to 3-5. This all means that Kildangan will play Kilruane in the North Final. Date and venue will be confirmed this week as Kildangan are also committed at Minor grade this weekend. Meanwhile the U16B final goes ahead as planned this weekend when Borrisileigh and Borrisokane will contest the North Final in Nenagh on Saturday at 12:30. Also on Saturday next, Templederry will represent North Tipp in the County U16C semifinal when they will meet Durlas Óg at The Ragg. Throw in at 2:15pm. Best of luck to all teams.

Ash Programme.
Coiste Na nÓg were involved in meetings during the week with the County Games Development Committee to discuss the implementation of the new Ash programme by the County Games Development committee. The CNG have put forward proposed ammendments to the programme which will now be considered by the GDC. Consequently there will be no activity in the short term and you will be advised as soon as there are any developments.
