U12 Hurling
The season is really progressing apace as last week in A Grade Rd 2 Nenagh and Ballina both played Toomevara in the same week with both winning. The Kilruane v Kildangan gamew as postponed because of Kilruanes involvement in the football semi. This week in A grade we have Kilruane v Ballina, Kildangan v Nenagh and Roscrea v Toomevara.

Meanwhile , last week in B, Borrisoleigh, Silvermines and the Burgess who are improving weekly , all had wins. This weeks B games are Lorrha v Silvermines, Borrisoleigh v Burgess and Portroe v Borrisokane.
In C Grade, Ballinahinch, Moneygall and Shannon Rovers all recorded big wins whilst this weeks fixtures will see Roscrea 2 v Moneygall, Newport v Ballina 2, and Ballinahinch v Templederry. This grade is one week ahead of the other grades as they are now at Rd 3.

Finally in Grade D, Kilruane and Toomevara both won their games and this week Kilruane 2 will play Silvermines, Newport 2 v Nenagh 2 and Roscrea 3 v Toomevara 2.

U14 Football
Commiserations to both Inane Rovers and Kilruane who both bowed out at County Semi Final stage last week as they met stronger opposition from the Mid Division. Neverthe less, well done to both clubs on representing North Tipperary with distinction.

U14 Hurling
The A grade competition will commence next week ie June 18th. Meanwhile in B Grade, there is already clearly an imbalance in the group and the CCC will hold a special meeting this week to review all the results to date to see if the imbalance can be corrected. So far, both Borrisileigh and Kilruane in particular and possibly Shannon Rovers appear to be too strong for this group whilst Newport Gaels, Lorrha and Portroe are struggling already. In what is a very large group, last week saw big wins for Shannon Rvrs, Borrisiliegh, Burgess, Kilruane and Moneygall/Templederry. The CCC will report the outcome of their findings later in the week before the A Championship starts.

U16
The U16 hurling championship will start on June 30th after the exams. Meanwhile the annual Tipperary Supporters Club All Ireland format was publicised last week. This year, West Tipperary will be the hosts and unfortunately Tipperary appear to have been handed down a difficult draw. Tipp A team are paired with Kilkenny, Cork, and Laois in Group 2, with only one team progressing to the semi, whilst in the B competition we are grouped with Clare, Cork and Antrim , again with only team one progressing. This tournament takes place over the last weekend in August.
