U12 Hurling
We reach the semi final stage this week in all U12 grades following very competitive pool stages and quarter finals. All grades have their semis this Friday (18th) and all four finals will take place on Sat week, 26th July, at the same venue TBC.

In A grade, Ballina beat Nenagh in their quarter and now meet Kilruane in the semi whilst Kildangan beat Toomevara in the other quarter and now progress to play Roscrea in the second semi.

In B Grade Lorrha beat Borrisileigh 5-5 to 1-3 in the play off to decide 2nd place. Borrisileigh then went on to beat Portroe 3-5 to 1-5 in the quarter and as a result Borrisileigh must now play Lorrha again in the first semi. On the other side, Silvermines will be at home to Burgess following Burgess win over Borrisokane in the quarter final on a score of 3-9 to 2-5

In C, Ballinahinch had a big win over Roscrea 2 and next travel to Shannon Rvrs for the semi. The second semi involves Templederry at home to Moneygall as Moneygall beat Newport in the quarter and Templederry finished joint top in the pool stage.

In D grade, which is 9 a side, Silvermines had a good win over Nenagh and will now travel to Toomevara for their semi. Kilruane received a walkover from Newport and will play Roscrea in the second semi.

U14 Hurling
Last week in A grade, Toomevara beat Silvermines and Kildangan overcame Nenagh. This Weds Kildangan will play Roscrea and Toomevara will play Nenagh with Silvermines on a bye week. Meanwhile in B, things are really hotting up as last week in Rd7 Ballina and Shannon Rvrs had good wins whilts it is worrying to see Borrisokane Lorrha and Portroe all conceding walkovers. This weeks Rd 8 games are ; Borris-Ileigh v Shannon Rvrs, Moneygall/Templederry v Kilruane,Portrow v Borrisokane, Burgess v Newport Gaels and Lorrha v Ballina. Some clubs have back fixtures which must be played this week as the quarter finals are on Weds July 30th.

U16 Hurling
In A this week, the Newport/Roscrea game was postponed whilst Toomevara beat Nenagh 3-13 to 1-10 and Kildangan ran up 2-20 against Kilruanes 2-6. Next Monday sees Kildangan v Toomevara, Newport Gaels v Kilruane, and Roscrea v Nenagh. Meanwhile in B, the Portroe/Burgess game was postponed and the other results were Moneygall 3-12 Shannon Rvrs 1-6, Silvermines 2-15 Borris-Ileigh 3-5. Borrisokane & Ballina will play Tuesday. Next Monday will see Ballina v Moneygall, Burgess v Borrisokane, Borris-Ileigh v Portroe and Shannon Rvrs v Silvermines.
