Feile Peil.
The North Feile Peil finals took place last Saturday. In Kilcolman, Inane Rvrs had a big win over Eire Óg in the A final whilst Newport Gaels and Ballina played out a very tight game in the B Final, with Newport finishing the stronger and winning on a scoreline of 3-6 to 2-2. Inane and Newport will now progress to the County Feile Peil finals in Thurles on Sat April 26th and this year the winner of the A and B Finals will both go onto the All Ireland Peil Na nÓg in Connacht, during the weekend of June 27th/29th. Best of luck to Inane and Newport.

Fixture Round Up.
All our football championship group stages are progressing well and this week we will have a fair indication of who will go through to the knock out stages.
U12A : Rd 6 – Toomevara and Kilruane have 2 games each to catch up. Toomevara v Kilruane on Monday and v Nenagh on Friday. Kilruane will play Kildangan on Friday.
U12B : Rd 3 – Borrisileigh v Newport, Silvermines v Ballina with Portroe a bye
U12C : Rd 4 – Burgess v Moneygall, Templederry v Ballinahinch and Lorrha v Shannon Rvrs
U12D : Rd 6 – Toomevara v Eire Óg, Inane Rvrs v Ballina and Toomevara v Kilruane
U14A : In Rd 2 this Weds Kildangan v Inane and Toomevara v Eire Óg. This weeks results will be vital to all teams as the top team goes straight to the final and teams 2 and 3 will contest a semi.
U14B : Also only at Rd 2 this week. In Grp 1 Portroe v Borrisokane , Ballina v Moneygall/Templederry and Silvermines v Lorrha. In Grp 2 Borrisoleigh v Kilruane, Burgess v Shannon Rvrs and Newport Gaels have a bye
U16A : Moves to Rd 4 this week with Eire Og v Kildangan and Inane V Newport Gaels which may well decide who will top the group. Currently Newport lead the group and should get a home semi. Nenagh have it all to do and badly need a win to have a chance of qualifying.
U16B : Rd 6 of 7 rounds this week with it all to play for. Silvermines v Ballina, Burgess v Toomevara and Portroe v Borrisokane. As it stands, Borrisokane and Silvermines are together on top with positions 3 and 4 wide open.
