Feile Peil
North Tipp were well represented at the Co Final stages of Feile Peil last weekend where Inane Rvrs contested the A semis and Newport Gaels the B. Unfortunately for Inane Rvrs they met strong opposition from Moyle Rvrs and bowed out at the semi stage. Newport Gaels beat Holycross in a very tight game 3-5 to 1-5 in the semi and then went on to meet Mullinahone in the County Final. Newport Gaels proved to be much to strong for Mullinahone and beat them 5-10 to 3-5. Well done Newport Gaels who will now go on to represent Tipperary in the National Feile Finals in Connacht on 27th June weekend.

Feile Hurling
Toomevara and Borrisileigh will participate in the county Feile Hurling semis on Easter Monday in Thurles in A & B Grades respectfully. Best of luck to both.

U12 Football
All four grades played their semis last weekend and we now know the North Final pairings. In A grade, Inane Rvrs beat Borrisokane and Kilruane beat Toomevara in the semis which means that Inane will meet Kilruane in the Nth Final. In B Grade, Ballina overcame Borrisileigh and Silvermines beat Portroe so Ballina will play Silvermines. In C, Lorrha will play Burgess and in D Ballina will play Inane. It is intended to play all four finals this weekend in the same venue. This will be announced on Weds evening.

U14 Football
In A grade, Inane Rvrs have already qualified for the final and we await the outcome of the semi between Toomevara and Nenagh this Weds to see who the opposition will be. In B Grade, we are are the last Rd in both Groups this Weds as in Grp 1 Portroe v Silvermines, Moneygall/Templederry v Borrisokane and Ballina v Lorrha. Ballina and Silvermines must also play a back fixture asap. In Grp 2 we have Borrisileigh v Newport Gaels and Kilruane v Shannon Rvrs. As we speak Portroe and Silvermines top Grp 1 and Newport and Borrisileigh top Grp 2. The top 2 teams from each grp go the semis on Weds next May 7th. The U14 A & B finals will take place on May 14th

U16
All the semis were played on Mon night and in A Grade Newport had a big win over Kildangan 6-14 to 2-5 whilst Eire ᅮg beat Inane Rvrs 5-9 to 3-5. This means that Newport and Eire ᅮg will contest the U16A North Final. In B Grade Borrisokane and Toomevara played out a thriller with the scores level at full time. In extra time, Toomevara went on to win by 2-9 to 1-8. Ballina had a big win over Silvermines in the other semi which means that Toomevara will play Ballina in the U16B Nth Final. Both the A & B Final will take place on weekend of May 10th.

Roger Ryan Tournament
The annual Roger Ryan Tournament which had to be deferred recently because of a bereavement will now go ahead on Mon next, the Bank Holiday. Starting at 2:30, the North will play the Mid with the Final at 3:45. Best of luck to Manager Christy Morgan and his coaches and squad.

U16 Munster
