Donal & Rose Younge Mid Under 21 A hurling Championship:
Following the loser’s group final played last weekend, we now know the semi finalists ahead of this weekend’s games. Moycarkey Borris emerged victorious over Upperchurch Drombane by 5-9 to 1-10 to set up a semi final tie against Holycross Ballycahill while Drom Inch will face Thurles Sarsfields in the other semi final. Both semi finals will take place this weekend and will be fixed at the next CCC meeting.

Horse & Jockey Kia U21 B hurling championship:
The outstanding loser’s group game between Loughmore Castleiney and Thurles Sarsfields will have been fixed at Monday’s CCC meeting with the winner taking on Moyne Templetuohy/ Thurles Gaels while in the other semi final Boherlahan Dualla face Gortnahoe Glengoole.

Munster Club Action:
Commiserations to Thurles Sarsfields who were defeated in the Munster Senior hurling club semi final after extra time by Ballyea of Clare. They will feel that they should have had the game put to bed but the Clare champions rallied late on and got the decisive scores to emerge victorious.

Loughmore Castleiney will go in search of a second county football final in 2016 as they meet Clonoulty Rossmore in Templletuohy on Friday next at 8pm in the County Junior A final. Last weekend they were defeated in the County Junior A hurling semi final by Ballybacon Grange. Meanwhile in the County Junior B hurling final on Sunday Mid champions Upperchurch Drombane will face Portroe in Kilcommon at 2pm. We wish both Mid teams best of luck in their respective finals
