The draw for the semi finals of the Centenary Agri Mid Senior Hurling Championship was made last week at the Mid CCC meeting and the following are the pairings:
Moycarkey Borris v Loughmore Castleiney
Drom Inch v Holycross Ballycahill

Games are provisionally pencilled in for the weekend of 16/17th July if Tipperary are successful in the Munster Senior Hurling final. Times and venues shall be fixed at next CCC meeting

Roadstone Mid Intermediate Hurling Championship:
This Saturday sees the first round of the Mid Intermediate hurling championship as Moycarkey Borris face Boherlahan Dualla in Holycross at 7.30 with the winners facing Drom-Inch in the Semi final.

Mid Junior Hurling Championships:
Last weekend seen games in the Mid Junior A and B hurling championship. In Group 2 of the Junior A Drom-Inch kept their unbeaten run intact with a victory over JK Brackens while in the Junior B hurling championship there was an Upperchurch Drombane victory over Moycarkey Borris in Group 2. This week sees Holycross face Thurles Sarsfields in Holycross at 7.30 in group 1 of the Junior A while in the Junior B

Munster Senior Football Final:
Hard luck to the Tipperary Senior footballers who put up a brave fight against Kerry in the Munster final in Killarney on Sunday last. Despite getting a great start the hosts had the benefit of bringing serious quality off the bench in the second half. However our players can be proud of their efforts and now await the qualifier draw.

Munster Minor & Senior Hurling Finals:
Best of luck to Michael Ryan and his senior hurling squad who face Waterford in the Munster Senior hurling final on Sunday in the Gaelic Grounds. Best of luck also to Liam Cahill and his minor squad who face Limerick in the minor decider following their fantastic semi final victory over Cork in Pairc Ui Rinn last week

County Challenge Cups:
This Saturday sees the semi finals of the various county challenge cups take place and there are several teams from the Mid division involved. In the Dr Fogarty Cup semi final Loughmore Castleiney face Ballina in Toomevara while Moycarkey Borris face Killenaule in Killenaule on Friday night in the other semi final meanwhile in the Jim Devitt Cup semi final Drom Inch face Roscrea in Moneygall. In the James Holohan Cup semi finals Ballingarry face Clonakenny in Boherlahan while in the other semi final Carrick Swans face JK Brackens in New Inn. All games have a 7.30 throw in time. On Saturday evening Kilruane McDonaghs defeated Moyne Templetuohy in the other semi final of the Jim Devitt Cup by a score of 2-25 to 1-16.
