Mid U21 A Football Championship
Thurles Sarsfields face JK Brackens in the losers group final with a place in the semi finals at stake where the winner will join Drom Inch, Upperchurch Drombane and Loughmore Castleiney.

Mid U21 B Football Championship
In round 3 of the Mid U21 B football championship Gortnahoe Glengoole defeated Moyne Templetuohy /Thurles Gaels to secure a place in the final against Moycarkey Borris.

Dr Harty Cup
Commiserations to Our Lady’s Templemore who were defeated by Ardscoil Ris of Limerick in the Dr Harty Cup final on the Saturday last by 3 points by a score of 0-11 to 0-8 in Nenagh. Our Lady’s now play Gort Community School in the All Ireland Quarter final on 5th March.

Fitzgibbon Cup:
This weekend sees the semi final and final of the Fitzgibbon Cup which is been hosted by Cork Institute of Technology. There will be a strong Mid Tipperary interest among the semi finalists. Stephen Cahill and Ronan Maher (Thurles Sarsfields), John Meagher (Loughmore Castleiney) line out for Mary Immaculate College while John McGrath (Loughmore Castleiney), Paul Maher (Moyne Templetuohy) and Shane Hassett (Drom Inch) are members of the University of Limerick squad. Cathal Barrett (Holycross Ballycahill) and Willie Ryan (Clonakenny) are part of the Limerick IT squad
