Roadstone Mid Intermediate Hurling Championship:
Last weekend seen the second semi final in the Roadstone Mid Intermediate hurling championship and it will be a repeat of last year’s final as defending champions Drom Inch will meet Thurles Sarsfields in this year’s decider following their victory over Boherlahan Dualla by 1-19 to 1-13.

Roskeen Construction Mid Junior A Hurling:
Following on from the final group game in group 2 the quarter final pairings are now known. Drom-Inch face Thurles Gaels while Moyne Templetuohy take on Holycross Ballycahill. Loughmore Castleiney’s victory over Moyne Templetuohy ensured that they finished top of group 2 and join Thurles Sarsfields in the semi finals due to their head to head record with Drom-Inch.

Thurles Cash and Carry Junior B Hurling:
In group 1, Boherlahan Dualla have two games left against Gortnahoe Glengoole and Killea and two victories would see them top the group and progress to the semi finals. Gortnahoe Glengoole have 3 from 3 and the final group game will go a long way to deciding who tops the group. In Group 2, Upperchurch Drombane have qualified for the semi finals while the outcome of the JK Brackens and Clonakenny will decide the second team who progress to the semi finals. Should Clonakenny win they will make the semi finals while if JK Brackens win by a sizeable margin they would progress.

Thurles Credit Union Minor A Hurling:
With one round of games remaining in the Mid Minor A hurling championship, Holycross Ballycahill top the group with full points from 4 games. JK Brackens Og are next with four points while Thurles Sarsfields Og and Moycarkey Borris have two points.

Thurles Credit Union Minor B Hurling:.
With one round of games remaining in the Mid Minor B hurling championship, Gortnahoe Glengoole top the group with full points from 4 games. Moyne Templetuohy/ Thurles Gaels are next with six points while Drom Inch have four points and both Upperchurch Drombane and Boherlahan Dualla have two points.

All Ireland Senior Footballers:
Well done to our Senior Footballers who put in a superb performance last weekend to defeat Galway and set up an All Ireland semi final tie with Mayo. We wish them well in their preparations for the semi final.

All Ireland Minor and Senior Hurling Semi finals:
This weekend sees one of the biggest days in the year for both our Senior and Minor hurlers as they face Galway in both All Ireland Semi finals in Croke Park. Both of these games will be huge tasks given that Galway defeated Tipperary in both Minor and Senior last year. We wish Michael Ryan and Liam Cahill and their squads the best of luck and hope that we can have 2 teams in All Ireland final day.

Yours in sport,
