All roads lead to The Ragg this Saturday for the glamour day in the U12 championship calendar as the Drom & Inch club once again host the four U12 group finals commencing with the group 3 final at 10.30am where Loughmore-Castleiney meet Holycross-Ballycahill (b). The group 4 final is then at 11.30am with Drom-Inch (b) meeting Gortnahoe-Glengoole (b). Then at 12.45pm Boherlahan-Dualla take on Holycross-Ballycahill in the group 2 decider, while at 2pm, JK Brackens will play Drom-Inch in the group 1 final.

A great day’s entertainment is once again guaranteed and we invite all supporters to come out and support your club on this now well established day in the U12 calendar. We are grateful to the Drom & Inch club for hosting the finals once again and also proud to welcome Piper, Gerard Neville, from the Seán Treacy Pipe Band of Moycarkey-Borris to lead all teams in the pre-match parades.

Without the help and generous support of our sponsors occasions like this would place extra burden on Mid Coiste na nÓg, so we are indebted to our sponsors; Centenary Co-Op., Snap Printing, Murphy Office Supplies and Joe O’Sullivan Bus Hire and we would encourage our supporters to please support all our sponsors where possible.

Elsewhere, semi-final action concluded in the U14 championships with the following pairings getting ready to meet in the upcoming finals. In the Spain Family U14A final Moycarkey-Borris will host Durlas Óg in Littleton on Saturday week, August 16th, at 3.15pm and in the Doran Oil U14C final Moycarkey-Borris will also host Thurles Gaels in Littleton on the same day with throw in at 2pm. Then on Sunday, August 24th, the Stakelum’s Office Supplies U14B final sees Drom-Inch take on Moyne-Templetuohy in Templetuohy.

The U16 championships are also nearing knock-out stages as the remaining league rounds come to a close. There is quarter final action on Monday night next in U16A with Gortnahoe-Glengoole welcoming Moycarkey-Borris to their ground, while JK Brackens welcome Drom and Inch to Templemore for the other quarter final tie. The semi-finals are penciled in for Monday, August 25th in U16A.
