MUNSTER JUNIOR CLUB HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP
Best wishes to Ballybacon-Grange in the AIB Munster Junior Club Hurling Championship this weekend as they will play either Brian Dillons or St. Catherine’s (Cork) in the semi-final in Ardfinnan on Sunday next, November 12th with throw-in at 2pm in a game which will be referred by Jason Mullins (Limerick). As the Cork final was a draw on Sunday, the replay was scheduled for this Tuesday night, November 7th, to decide Ballybacon’s opposition.

SEAMUS Ó RIAIN CUP In the Tipperary Water Seamus Ó Riain Cup Final played in Moneygall last Sunday; congratulations go to Toomevara following their 2-18 to 0-12 victory over Roscrea. Both sides however will be in the top 16 tier for next season.
COUNTY JUNIOR HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP
In what has been a busy time for them recently, congratulations to Ballybacon-Grange who lifted the Tipperary Water County Junior A Hurling Championship Final following their defeat of Toomevara 0-19 to 1-11 last Saturday.
Elsewhere in the Tipperary Water County Junior B Hurling semi-final Newport had a narrow 2-10 to 2-9 win over Cappawhite last weekend. The second semi-final between Mullinahone and Thurles Sarsfields will be played in Gortnahoe on Sunday next November 12th with throw-in at 2pm.
The final is set for Sunday November 26th next.

Congratulations to Padraic Maher (Thurles Sarsfields) on winning a PWC/GPA All-Star Award 2017 last weekend. This is Padraic’s fifth All Star Award and is a fitting end to the season for the Tipperary captain.

NOVEMBER TIPPERARY GAA DRAW
Congratulations to all the winners in the November monthly draw held last Friday night in The Rapparee Bar in Drom and hosted by the Drom & Inch GAA club. The two main prizes on the night went to Francis McInerney who won a Skoda Octavia or €15,000 with Ballina Handball Club the winning promoter and second prize of a Skoda Fabia or €10,000 going to Pauline Mary Curley with St. Pat’s Connecticut the winning promoters here.
COACHING COURSES
Award 1 Adult coaching courses in Tipperary will be aimed specifically towards the Adult club coaches i.e. coaching from minor through to senior grade in our clubs. The Hurling course will start on Wednesday next November 15th in Dr Morris Park and will run over 5 consecutive Wednesday nights including November 22nd, 29th and December 6th and13th from 7pm – 9.30pm nightly. The Award 1 Football course will start on Monday 22nd January 2018 and will run with the same format.

BOOK LAUNCH The Thurles Sarsfields GAA Story-Volume 1, an insightful new book for all GAA supporters covering the clubs history from 1884 to 1959 and written by Liam Ó Donnchú will be launched by Tony Wall at Thurles Sarsfields Social Centre this Friday night, November 10th at 7.30 p.m. and everyone is welcome to attend the launch.
GAA SEASON TICKET 2018
With the 2017 Inter-County Season now finished the details for the GAA Season Ticket for 2018 have been announced and renewals are now live.
The following pricing will apply – Adult Season Ticket €120 and Juvenile Season Ticket €30. The Adult Club+ Season Ticket is €200.
As per 2017, the Club+ Season Ticket will allow the owner to attend club fixtures within the chosen county. The grades and codes of club fixtures that will be covered by the Club+ element of the ticket are determined by the individual county. Once the season ticket is correctly maintained throughout the season, the Club+ version will also guarantee the ticket holder an All-Ireland Final ticket should his/her county qualify, regardless of their attendance percentage. This is designed to encourage ticket holders to move towards this product and ultimately increase revenue for individual counties.

ANNUAL GAA MEMORABILIA FAIR IN THURLES
Lár na Páirce, the GAA Museum in Thurles, will hold a GAA Memorabilia Fair in Thurles Sarsfields Social Centre, (beside Semple Stadium) on Sunday, November 26th from 12.00 noon to 4.00pm.
