The Mid Intermediate Hurling final is due to be played on September 11th as a curtain raiser to the Senior hurling final.

Roskeen Construction Mid Junior A Hurling:
Last weekend we had the first of our two quarter final games with Drom Inch emerging on top of Thurles Gaels by 2-14 to 0-12. Drom Inch now join Thurles Sarsfield and Loughmore Castleiney in the semi finals while the last remaining spot will be filled this weekend by either Holycross Ballycahill or Moyne Templetuohy who meet in the Ragg at 6.30 on Saturday evening.

Thurles Cash and Carry Junior B Hurling:
In group 1, Boherlahan Dualla’s game with Killea was called off and now play Gortnahoe Glengoole on Friday next in Gortnahoe at 6.30. Gortnahoe Glengoole have 3 from 3 and their final group game will go a long way to deciding who tops the group. In Group 2, Upperchurch Drombane have qualified for the semi final by topping the group while JK Brackens victory over Clonakenny was not enough to see them progress and in turn Clonakenny go through in second place.

Holycross Ballycahill face Moycarkey Borris will Na Sairsealaigh Og face JK Brackens Og in the other semi final. These games will be played on Wednesday 7th September.

All Ireland Senior Footballers:
Hard Luck to our Senior Footballers who put up a spirited performance last weekend but it was not to be as Mayo proved to have a small bit too much for the men from the Premier County. We thank Liam Kearns and his backroom team for their commitment and dedication throughout the year but most of all we must thank our players who have made the year a very memorable one with several fantastic displays and have left Tipperary football in a very healthy place.

Yours in sport,
