U21 Hurling Championships:
It was the end of the road for our U21 hurling sides in County action at the weekend.
On Saturday Cappawhite/Sean Treacys were defeated by Mid champions Thurles Sarsfields in the County U21A semi-final in Golden.
On Sunday Cashel King Cormacs bowed out of the B championship when they were defeated by three points by Mid champions Gortnahoe/Glengoole in Fethard. Gortnahoe/Glengoole will now meet Ballinahinch/Templederry in this year’s County Final.
Munster Junior B Football Championship:
Best of luck to Arravale Rovers who take on Limerick champions, Oola in the quarter final of the Munster Junior B football championship this Sunday December 4th at 2.30pm in Knockaderry, Co Limerick.
Oola forms half of the Solohead and Oola parish in West Tipperary and East Limerick but are divided by the county boundary and a rivalry between Tipperary and Limerick. Back in September Arravale Rovers accounted for one half of that parish when they defeated Solohead in the Rea Clarke Hennessy West Junior B Football Final. On Sunday they will look to complete a double over the parish sides.
West Convention:
The 88th Annual General Meeting of West Tipperary GAA will take place in the Cappawhite Community Centre on Wednesday December 7th at 8.30pm.
