Victory for both Cappawhite Gaels and Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams will see both sides battle it out in the last group game with the winner going to the final and the loser playing in the semi-final. Victory for Lattin/Cullen will guarantee them at least a semi-final spot.

West Junior B Hurling Championship:
In Group 2 of the Tipperary Co-Op Super Valu West Junior B Hurling Championship Arravale Rovers defeated Golden/K to move within two points of group leaders Sean Treacys (6pts from four games) and Solohead (6 pts from three games).

It is a must win game for Golden/K to have any chance of reaching the knockout stages of the competition. This will be Sean Treacys last group game and a win will put them on eight points from five games and in a strong position to qualify for the knockout stages of the competition.
Solohead will take on Golden/K on Sunday August 2nd in Annacarty with a 12 noon throw in. They are currently unbeaten in the group and a win will see them move onto eight points with a game left. Two wins for Golden/K will see them go level on points with Sean Treacys and Solohead at the top of the group.

In Group 1 of the competition Cashel KC made it four wins from four with a comfortable victory over Clonoulty/R in Dundrum on Saturday last. Cashel KC now top the group and second spot will go to the winners of Rosegreen and Eire Og who are both on four points with one game each left.

West Junior A Football Championship:
The AIB Tipperary West Junior A Football Championship continued on Saturday last in Group 1 when Cappawhite got their first victory of the campaign when they defeated Solohead in Sean Treacy Park. Link to match report

The result means Solohead cannot now qualify for the semi-finals. The game between Rosegreen and Cappawhite fixed for this Tuesday July 28th in Golden has been postponed due to a bereavement in Cappawhite.

There are two games in Group 2 on Tuesday night. Arravale Rovers take on Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams in Cappawhite at 7:15pm while Golden and Emly will meet in Lattin at 7.30pm. A win for Emly will see them finish on full points and top the group while a win for Golden/K will see them go level on points with Emly with a game less played.

A win is vital for both Arravale Rovers and Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams to keep their hopes of progression to the semi-finals alive. On Sunday August 2nd Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams will meet Sean Treacys in Clonoulty/R at 12 noon.

West Junior B Football Championship:

County Intermediate Hurling Championship:

The County Intermediate Championship continues:

Group 2 of the county intermediate hurling championship has finished with three teams on top of the table with 8 points. St Marys, Gortnahoe Glengoole and Lattin Cullen Gaels. Score difference would generally separate the teams in such situations but since a walkover occurred in the group that effects one of the teams involved, a three way play off will now have to take place.
The draw was made for the playoff as follows
1) Lattin Cullen Gaels v Gortnahoe Glengoole
2) St Marys v the loser
3) Winner (1) v Winner (2) with the winner topping the table and progressing to the Quarter finals and the loser playing in the Preliminary Quarter Finals.

In Group 3 on Tuesday last Cashel KC defeated Moyle Rovers thus getting their first win in the group phase of the competition. The final group game between Moyle Rovers and Clonakenny will determine Cashel’s final position in the group.
Galtee Rovers went down to their second defeat of the group when losing to Clonakenny. The result means Galtee Rovers will finish 3rd in the group.

In Group 4 Golden/K drew with Moycarkey/B to finish level on points with Ballinahinch and Sean Treacys. The final spots were then decided on score difference, Ballinahinch 1st, Golden/K 2nd and Sean Treacys 3rd.

County Senior Football Championship:
On Wednesday night in Group 1 Eire Og Annacarty Donohill defeated Thomas McDonaghs in Templetuohy and are now guaranteed a place in the knockout stages. The final group game between Kilsheelan/Kilcash and Killenaule takes place this Wednesday night July 29th. A draw or a defeat for Kilsheelan/Kilcash will see Eire Og top the group and into the last eight while victory for Kilsheelan/Kilcash will see first and second spot decided by score difference. Eire Og currently have +28 while Kilsheelan/Kilcash have +16.

In Group 2 on Saturday night Aherlow Gaels got the third win in a row defeating Ballyporeen in Cahir. Aherlow Gaels have now played all their group games but their final position in the group will depend on other group games.
