Seasons Greetings:
West Tipperary GAA Board wish to thank all the clubs, players, team mentors, sponsors, officers, grounds people and supporters who helped or supported the Board in any way this year.
We also wish to thank our referees, gate checkers and programme sellers for their contribution throughout the year. The Board would like to wish you and yours a peaceful Christmas and a Happy New year.
I would like to thank all who contributed to match reports and making this column possible each week over the past year. West Tipperary GAA Scene will return again in the New Year.
Munster PPS:
Thurles CBS got the better of the Abbey CBS when the teams met in the last of the Harty Cup Quarter Finals played in Dundrum on Wednesday last. There was West representation on both sides.

Commiserations to Rockwell College who were defeated by Clonmel High School in the County Senior Schools Football Final (McGowan Cup) on Friday last in Cahir.

Doon CBS also contained plenty of West players when they took on CBC Cork in the final of the Corn Sheamuis Ui Dhonnchu U16 1/2B Hurling in Mallow on Wednesday last. Unfortunately for Doon CBS it was CBC who came out on top by a margin of 4 points.
