Munster U21 Football Championship:
Best of luck to the Tipperary U21 Football team who play Cork in the Munster Final on Thursday April 9th at 7.30pm in Thurles. Best of luck to our West representatives Tommy Toomey(Manager), Josh Keane, Gearoid Slattery, Mark Russell, TJ Ryan, Ted Lowry and Pearse Richardson.

Munster Minor Hurling:
Best of luck to the Tipperary Minor Hurlers who take on Waterford in the Munster championship on Wednesday April 8th at 7pm in Semple Stadium. Also best of luck to Lattin/Cullen Gaels player Shane Neville who is named at midfield for the game.Best of luck to Clonoulty/Rosmore players Enda Heffernan (corner back) and Dillion Quirke.

West U21A Football Final 2015:
Congratulations to Galtee Rovers/Emly who are West U21A Football Champions for 2015 following a one point victory over Arravale Rovers in the final. They now play Clonmel Commercials in the County Semi Final. This is currently is pencilled in for the 18th April but if Tipperary win the Munster U21 Football final they will be playing the All Ireland semi final v Dublin on the 18th so this may affect the County Semi Final.

West Minor Football:
The Tipperary Print and Design West Minor A Football Championship commenced last Wednesday 1st April where Arravale Rovers/Eire Og took on Galtee Rovers/Golden K, with the latter coming out on top by a 7 point margin. The Aherlow Gaels v Emly/Sean Treacys game did not go ahead due to bereavement in Kilcommon.
The Pa Sheehy Butchers West Minor B Football Championship also started last Wednesday April 1st with Kickhams getting the better of Cashel KC in Dundrum by 2 points. The Cappawhite Gaels v Clonoulty/R game did not take place due to bereavement in Clonoulty.

Post Primary Schools.
Best of luck to Abbey CBS, Tipperary Town who take on St. Mary’s Academy Carlow CBS in the Masita GAA All Ireland Post Primary Schools Senior B Football Final (Drummond Cup) on Saturday April 11th at 1.30pm in Croke Park. Admission Prices (Hogan Stand Only) Adults €20, OAPs/Students/Post Primary Students/Juveniles €5.
Commiserations to Thurles CBS and our West representives from Clonoulty/Rossmore GAA club, on their Croke Cup Final defeat to St. Kieran’s of Kilkenny.

County Senior Hurling Championship:
All four West teams are in action this weekend in the group phase of the County Senior Hurling Championship. There is a double header in Boherlahan on Sunday April 12th with Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams taking on JK Brackens in Group 1of Roinn 2 at 1pm. The sides met 12 months ago in the same venue with the mid side coming out victorious. Following that 2014 West Senior Hurling champions Eire Og Annacarty take on Killenaule at 2.30pm in Group 3 of Roinn 1.
In the Ragg on Sunday April 12th at 2pm, in Group 4 of Roinn 2 Cappawhite take on Moneygall. When the sides met in the group phase last year it was Cappawhite who came out on top by a 3 point margin. Later that evening at 6.30pm in Holycross, 2014 beaten West finalists Clonoulty/Rossmore take on 2013 County Intermediate Champions Ballina in Group 3 of Roinn 1. Ballina have come up from Roinn 2 in 2014.

County Intermediate Hurling Championship:
It is a busy weekend for our Intermediate clubs with all 7 clubs in action over the weekend. 2012 West champions Rockwell Rovers start off proceedings when they take on Drom-Inch at 5pm in Leahy Park Cashel on Saturday April 11th in Group 1.
There is an all West clash in New Inn on Sunday April 12th when Galtee Rovers and Cashel/K clash in Group 3 at 3.30pm. Galtee Rovers topped their group in 2014 while Cashel/K make their championship bow at Intermediate Hurling having come down from Senior in 2014.
There is a double header in Group 2 in Cahir on Sunday April 12th, starting at 2pm where 2013 West champions Arravale Rovers take on last year’s County Junior A champions Skeheenarinky. At 3.30pm last year’s West champions Lattin/Cullen Gaels take on last year’s South champions St. Marys.
In Group 4 last year’s beaten West finalists Golden/K get their championship campaign up and running when they take on last year’s beaten North finalists Ballinahinch at 2pm in Dundrum. This is also a double header with Sean Treacys taking on Moycarkey/B at 3.30pm.

County Senior Football Championship
The 1st round of the County Senior Football Championship is currently pencilled in for Wed 22nd April.
