Minor Football Championship:
The West Minor A and B Football Championships continued last Wednesday.
In the Tipperary Print & Design West Minor A Football Championship Galtee/Golden made it two wins from two when they defeated Arravale Rovers in Golden. Match Report

In the other game Clonoulty/Rossmore got the better of Emly/Treacys. Match Report

The action continues this Thursday night April 14th. In Kilcommon Emly/Treacys take on Arravale Rovers while in Clonoulty Clonoulty/Rossmore take on Galtee/Golden. Both games throw in at 6.45pm.

Following last week’s results Galtee/Golden are guaranteed a West semi-final spot and a win or a draw in their final game against Clonoulty/Rossmore will put them through to the final. The two remaining games will determine the final placings in the group. A win or a draw for both Arravale Rovers and Clonoulty/Rossmore will see both advance.

Emly/Treacys must win their final group game to have any chance of making the semi-finals. Their qualification for the semi-final would still depend on the result in the game between Galtee/Golden and Clonoulty/Rossmore. If three teams finish level on two points then score-difference will decide the semi-final pairing.

Should Emly/Treacys and Arravale Rovers finish level on two points then Emly/Treacys will advance based on the head to head between the sides. Should Emly/Treacys and Clonoulty/Rossmore finish level on two points then Clonoulty/Rossmore will advance based on the head to head between the sides. Should Clonoulty/Rossmore and Galtee/Golden finish level on points, Clonoulty/Rossmore will go straight through to the final while Galtee/Golden will play the winners of Emly/Treacys v Arravale Rovers. Should Arravale Rovers finish level on points with Galtee/Golden, the latter will go through to the final based on the head to head between the sides. Arravale Rovers would then play Clonoulty/Rossmore in the semi-final. Should Arravale Rovers, Clonoulty/Rossmore and Galtee/Golden all finish level on four points then score difference will determine the final standings in the group.

In the Bridge House Golden West Minor B Football championship Cappawhite Gaels made it two wins from two in Group 1 when they defeated Aherlow Gaels. Match Report

While on Thursday night April 14th in Group 2 Cashel King Cormacs take on Rockwell/Rosegreen in New Inn also at 6.45pm.
