The Tipperary senior hurling team travel to Glenisk O’Connor Park in Tullamore this Saturday afternoon where they will play Offaly in the All Ireland championship.


There have been five previous championship meetings ,which were all won by Tipperary.

2003,at Croke Park, Tipperary 2.16 Offaly 2.11  (All Irl Quarter final)
2007 at FBD Semple Stadium, Tipperary 2.17  Offaly 2.13  (All Irl Qualifier)
2010,at Portlaoise, Tipperary 0.21 Offaly 1.12  (All Irl Qualifier)
2014 at Portlaoise, Tipperary 5.25 Offaly 1.20  (All Irl Qualifier).

Current Tipp Manager Liam Cahill played in the 2002 & 2007 games, while former Tipperary team Doctor, Brendan Murphy, played for Offaly in 2002, 2003, 2007& 2010.
