Tipperary will play Galway this Saturday evening at 6.15pm in the All Ireland Quarter Final.

There have been 31 previous championship meetings between the counties. The Premier county has won 22  games and lost 9. There has never been a draw. However, the winning margin was only a point, on six occasions. Tipperary won by the minimum in 2003, 2010 & 2016, while Galway had their victories in 1924, 2015 & 2017.
