ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Annual General Meeting of the Tipperary Ladies Gaelic Football Association was held in the Horse & Jockey Hotel on Monday December 2nd. The following officers were elected – Chairperson: Biddy Ryan (Ardfinnan); Vice Chairman: Ger O’Hagan (Thurles Sarsfields); Secretary: Siobhan Condon (St. Ailbe’s); Assistant Secretary: Anthony O’Brien (St. Ailbe’s); Treasurer: Tommie Campbell (Moyle Rovers); Assistant Treasurer: Olive McDonnell (Templemore); PRO: Michelle Donnelly (Moycarkey Borris); Assistant PRO: Declan O’Shea (Mullinahone); Registrar: Nora Morrissey (Brian Borus); Development Officer: Ed Burke (Moyle Rovers); Cultural & Language Officer: Pat Morrissey (Holycross); Adult Fixtures: Ger O’Hagan (Thurles Sarsfields); Juvenile Fixtures: Lar Roche (Galtee Rovers). Congratulations and best wishes to all our new officers. After her election to position to Chairperson, Biddy Ryan thanked everyone for their support and said that she was delighted to be first female Chairperson in a number of years to hold the position. She thanked Tommie Campbell for all his hard work and said that she is looking forward to working with her fellow officers and all the clubs. Tommie Campbell finished a three year term as Tipperary Ladies Football Chairperson. He congratulated the U16 and Minor teams on winning All Irelands this year and wished them all the best for the future.

MUNSTER POST PRIMARY SCHOOLS COMPETITIONS
In the Senior A Cup Colaiste Dun Iascaigh are due to play Loreto, Fermoy in the Semi Final while Scoil Mhuire, Carrick on Suir await the winners in the Final.
On Wednesday last Loreto Clonmel defeated St. Joseph’s, Spanish Point to earn themselves a place in the Senior B Final but their opponents have yet to be decided. Scoil na Tríonóide Naofa, Doon were defeated in the Senior C Quarter Finals by Colasite Bheanntrai.

COACHING INITIATIVE
Tipperary Ladies Gaelic Football in conjunction with Setanta College and LIT Tipperary are delighted to announce their coaching initiative for the second year. This will benefit Primary and Post Primary Schools in the Thurles area. The bodies have come together and developed a special coaching programme which will be delivered within school environment to assist girls to advance in Ladies Football.

Setanta College provide a Sports Strength & Conditioning Course in the LIT Tipperary, Thurles. The students who complete this course are coaches in an area which is becoming a central and key figure in preparing and advancing the fitness and performance status of the individual athlete and team both in professional sport and also in amateur and recreational sport. Coaches will deliver the coaching in the schools in Thurles for a six week period.
