MUNSTER SENIOR B CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI FINAL
For the fourth year in a row Cappawhite are Tipperary Senior Club Champions and have earned themselves a Semi Final place in the Munster Senior B Club Championship. Their opponents are Ballymacarbry, Co. Waterford who this year earned their thirty third County title. Last year, Cappawhite lost out to the eventual A & B champions, Banner Ladies (Clare) in the Munster B Semi-Final. Interestingly, Ballymacarbry lost out to the Banner Ladies in last year’s Munster B Final so there appears to be little between the champions of Tipperary & Munster. 2015 U14 TIPPERARY TEAM
Tipperary Ladies Football will hold a County Trial for the 2015 Under 14 team on Saturday, October 4th at a venue to be confirmed. For any players interested in attending details are available on www.tipperaryladiesfootball.ie
TESCO HOMEGROWN ALL IRELAND CLUB SEVENS
Well done to the Tipperary Clubs, Brian Borus and Clonmel Commercials who travelled to Dublin to compete in the Tesco Homegrown All Ireland Club Sevens.
DEVELOPMENT
Tipperary Ladies Football is continuing its commitment towards the development of young Tipperary players with the re-establishment of the Setanta/LIT Coaching Programme. This year the programme will be improved with over ten schools involved. At the moment we are recruiting approximately twenty two coaches to help getting the programme started. We are looking forward to establishing links with schools and coaches in the next few weeks.
