MINOR C CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL
A blustery Bansha was the venue for the Tipperary Ladies Football Minor C Championship Final with Ardfinnan and Lattin Cullen competing for the title. Both clubs met in the round games with Lattin Cullen coming out the stronger then and today was to be no different. Lattin Cullen with the aid of the wind in the first half went in at half time with an eleven point margin on their opponents, Lattin Cullen 0-14 Ardfinnan 1-0.
Ardfinnan enjoyed the advantage of the growing wind in the second half and scored two goals and nine points to Lattin Cullen’s two goals and three points but the healthy eleven point margin at half time ensured a Lattin Cullen victory. Lattin Cullen 2-17 Ardfinnan 3-9.
Biddy Ryan, Tipperary Ladies Football Chairperson presented the cup to Lara O’Dwyer, congratulating Lattin Cullen on an excellent game in difficult conditions. She thanked Ardfinnan for their outstanding challenge especially in the second half and wished both teams well in the future. She acknowledged Galtee Rovers GAA Club for providing their facilities.
