“Féile Gold & Silver for Tipperary Juveniles”
Féile na nGael was hosted by Tipperary & Waterford in Handball, Hurling & Camogie. In Handball there was 6 Boys 40×20 Divisions, 1 60×30 Division & 2 Girls 40×20 divisions and a skills competition in all divisions. Lahorna hosted the 60×30 division and the home team of James Loughnane , Jack Mulcahy, Cormac Doheny,Rory Grace & Eoin Carroll Beat Clogh From Kilkenny (Luke Flanagan,Ml Brennan, Kyle Dunne & Domnic Bolster) 42-9 to win the Steve Casey Perpetual Cup.
In the Skills Competition Rory Grace won Silver & Cormac Doheny won Bronze with Clogh,s Kyle Dunne winning the Gold.
In The Girls Division 2 in Ballinahinch, the Ballina Team of Siobhan Prentice, Grainne O Brien, Amy Mc Keogh & Isobel Farnan were in a round Robin with Micheal Breathnach,s from Galway, Windgap from Kilkenny & Kilkishen from Clare. Ballina were beaten by the Galway Girls 21/6, 21/12 but rallied well to beat Windgap 21/14, 21/14 & beat Kilkishen 21/3 in the first game and tied 18-18 in the second. The top two teams met in the final Ballina & Micheal Breathnach.s. The Galway girls went on to capture the St Augustines College Shield with the Ballina Girls taking Silver. Kilkishen Beat Windgap in the Plate Final. In The Skills Chloe Philpot from Clare won the Skills Gold.
