The Christmas & New year period was dominated by annual handball Tournaments. The Liscarroll Juvenile singles tournament for Boys & Girls U13 & U15 has now become the stepping stone for players hoping to achieve National & International success. The competition for 2015 was as keen as ever with players from all over Ireland taking part. Sean McAdams (Lahorna) reached the final of the U15S but was beaten in the final by Tiernan Agnew (Clare). The Girls U15S was won by Bridín Dignan (Clare) who beat Leah Doyle Kildare in the Final. The U13S was won by Roisín O Keefe Kilkenny & the Boys U13 by Billy Brennan Kilkenny.

Kildare’s Leah Doyle has been crowned the U15 of the “Golden Girls” club competition hosted by Broadford HC, Limerick. In a nail biting final Leah defeated Galway’s Niamh Heffernan 25-24 in a terrific encounter.
The Plate Final was an all Tipperary affair with Katie Morris (Nenagh) beating Siobhan Prentice Ballina in another great final.
