Munster Championship Weekend
It’s a big weekend for Tipp teams with four of our inter-county teams entering Munster Championship fray. Sat the focus is on football at the Gaelic Grounds Limerick as our JF team take on the home team in the curtain raiser at 5pm. David Power is also managing this team which includes a good blend of youth and experience. At 7pm the much awaited SF Quarter Final clash with Limerick commences and Peter Creedon’s side will be hoping they can carry their good league form into this game and qualify to meet Cork in the semi final. The opening game Sunday will see our IH team under new manager John Carroll take on the Treaty side at 2pm and this will be followed at 4pm by the SH clash between the same counties as Tipp seek to reverse last year’s result after which Limerick went on to win the Munster title. Best of luck to all our four teams this weekend.

The date for next round will depend on county progress in the Munster championship.
County Intermediate Hurling Championship
The county intermediate hurling championship has three rounds completed with two more to be played. The divisions have commenced their championship and will complete a couple of rounds before the county restarts. The fortunes of the county teams will dictate when the next round is played.
