A presentation was made in Thurles last week by the Friends of Tipperary Football to Kevin Stapleton (Loughmore Castleiney) who was kit man to all Tipp Football teams over the last eight years. Kevin who has moved to Louth will be missed by all players and management alike who sends their best wishes.

Congratulations to Robbie Kiely who last Sunday collected a County Senior Football medal with Carbery Rangers who won their first ever Senior Championship in defeating Ballincollig in the Cork Co. Final. Robbie played a pivotal role in Tipperary’s football odyssey this year culminating with defeat by Mayo in the All Ireland semi final before being harshly black carded early in the game which had a major impact on the final outcome. Well done Robbie.
