CCAO All-Star Awards
Congratulations to Ereena & Sarah Fryday on receiving their CCAO All-Star awards at a ceremony held in the Hudson Bay Hotel last Friday night , not only a huge honour for the girls but also for Tipperary camogie as these awards are the most prestigious awards a third level camogie player can be awarded and acknowledge an outstanding individual performance throughout the colleges season for their skills, commitment, attitude, teamwork and work rate, well done girls.

U10 County Blitz
Well done to all the clubs that took part in our u10 camogie blitz in the camogie ground’s last Saturday. Again the event was well organised and huge thanks must go to Ciara Johnston for all her hard work in making sure the day was a success, a huge crowd turned up to support the teams and the girls had a great day there was plenty of skill on display and no doubt some of these young ladies will be wearing the Tipp jersey in the not too distant future, well done to all concerned.

Junior A Final

Holycross 1-10 Toomevara 2-08

Hard luck to Holycross who lost out to Toomevara in the junior A final last Saturday in the camogie grounds by a single point. It was heart breaking for Holycross as they battled hard in this very entertaining clash and a goal by Toomevara in the dying minutes was the deciding factor as it gave Toomevara a one point lead which was enough to see them over the line.

Junior B Final

Lorrha 5-09 Boherlahan 1-09

Four goals was the difference between these two sides that met in the B final last Saturday but the score is not a true reflection of the game that took place in the camogie ground’s. It was a tough physical battle but they say goal’s win matches and Lorrha were unforgiving in front of the Boherlahan goal’s and on the day were deserving winner’s.

Gael Linn
Wishing the Tipperary girl’s involved with Munster the very best of luck in the inter-provincial game next weekend.
