Tipperary Camogie Notes

U18 B Championship final

NENAGH EIRE OG 3.05 CASHEL 1.07

In an extremely skilful and competitive U18 final replay Nenagh came out on top to win their first minor final. Cashel put up a very good fight but in the end Nenagh proved too strong. Congratulations to both clubs for a great final.

TIPPERARY A.G.M.

Tipperary camogie held their A.G.M. in the county grounds clubhouse last Tuesday.

The following officers were elected :-

CHAIRPERSON Pat Sheridan (Nenagh Eire Og)

VICE CHAIRPERSON John Foley (Kildangan)

SECRETARY Carmel Harkin (Borris-Ileigh)

TREASURER Christine O’Brien (Borris-Ileigh)

REGISTRAR Helena Ryan (Clonoulty-Rossmore)

P.R.O. Jim Symons (Thurles Sarsfields)

All other positions will be filled at the adjourned convention date T.B.C.

Team managers

SENIOR & INTERMEDIATE

Manager Conor Ryan & Coach Geraldine Kinnane have both stepped down, these positions have yet to be filled.

MINOR

Due to work commitments manager Tim Maher has stepped down, the new management team is Lennie Phillips (Thurles Sarsfields) John Lillis (Drom & Inch) and Mary Howard Cahir).

U16

Manager Brian Boyle (Drom & Inch Continues along with selector Ailish Maher (Burgess /Duharra) other selectors t.b.c.

U14

Manager Greg Brown (Nenagh Eire Og) other coaches and selectors t.b.c.

The county board would like to thank outgoing chair Joe Cahill, outgoing Vice-chair Lar O’Brien and outgoing treasurer Patsy Carroll for all their hard work on behalf of the Tipperary Camogie board throughout the year.

We would also like to thank all outgoing managers for their commitment to Tipperary Camogie in 2013.
