This year the Tipperary Association Dublin is celebrating 80 years in existence – it was founded in 1934 by Tipperary people living and working in Dublin. A number of events are planned to mark this major milestone in the Association’s history:

• On the 17 November a lecture on “Sean Treacy and Republicanism” will be held in the Palace Bar, Dublin
• A talk on the history of the Association will take place at the AGM in late January 2015
• The involvement of Tipperary people in the Great War will be the subject of a talk in April 2015

The highlight of the 80th celebrations will be a special night which will bring together all those people who were honoured by the Association in the past as Tipperary Person of the Year and Hall of Fame award winners.
