Tipperary juvenile girls Hannah Grace and Leanne Gould from Lahorna were in Talbots Inch in Kilkenny on Friday night where they had a good win over Aishling Cooney and Emer Barron from the host county. In the Boys U17 Singles Patrick Delaney from Cashel will take on Brian McAleer from Tyrone next week in a deferred final.

In the Junior Doubles – John Ferncombe and Sean Maher from Cashel, pictured left, travelled to Na Fianna in Dublin to take on Darren Doherty and Conor O’Gorman (Monaghan). The Tipp boys took the first game 21/12 but had to be at their best in the second to win 21/17 against a spirited display by the Ulster champions.
In the MBD Willie Bourke and Brendan Ryan travelled to Mullingar but lost out to Kenny Curran and Finbar Fullen (Tyrone). In the GMAD in Talbots Inch, Kevin Mullins and Adrian Johnson lost out to Tom Sheridan and John Leahy from Meath.

The work they have undertaken over the course of their journey has been a credit to the Association. I also urge other clubs to attend and get involved in the Healthy Club Project.
