This weekend will be all go as both the All Ireland U 16 Hurling tournaments coupled with the U12 Hurling finals make up a packed schedule.
Arrabawn Coop All Ireland U 16 Hurling Tournaments
On Saturday we host the All Ireland U 16 Inter County Hurling tournaments on Saturday August 27th. We are delighted to have Arrabawn Coop in partnership with us as sponsors.
They were with us at the inaugural and now as we near the thirtieth anniversary of this prestigious tournament we look forward to more great games and no doubt future Star players from many of the participating counties. This year’s action is being staged within the north division with all finals taking place in Nenagh. One item of note this year is the full house of the Munster Province as Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Waterford are all in action.
In the A competition Tipperary are in group 2 accompanied by Cork, Dublin and Meath with the winners contesting a semifinal against the top team from group 3 which comprises of Antrim, Clare, Galway and Offaly.
In the B competition Tipperary contest group 3 along with Kildare and Kilkenny with the group winner up against the winner of group 2 which comprise of Clare, Kerry and Laois.

U 12 Hurling Finals
After completing a very packed program on Saturday we are out again on Sunday as our U 12 Hurling finals take place in Holycross on August 28th. With four finals to be decided it should produce a very entertaining afternoon. These finals give the opportunity of a very first outing on a county stage and great excitement from participants, parents and mentors will be displayed. The young players always give it their all, determination, skill, innocence etc. We encourage everyone to come along and support the players contesting what we hope the first of many such occasions.
